Beautiful Places

Today we spent time developing our own personal narrative. We also learned how to use the probes to test different water quality parameters. I loved spending time looking for things we saw and recognized as beautiful. Here are a few snapshots of that:

I'm lucky to live near by. Great place to be in the early mornings and late at night. Not completely wild, but out of the city enough. I've seen a number of interesting birds and other wildlife. I wish, however, that the water were clearer here as up and downstream. Hard to believe sometimes that this is the same river that runs through Lava. Maybe there's a digital story here. Cheers. Josh

What a nice park to live close to! What birds and wildlife have you seen Josh?

My favorite time there was seeing two great blue herons land on Edson Fichter pond.

This sounds like a great time.  I am excited to read the digital stories.

Those were great pictures and it sounds like you enjoyed yourself when you were checking different parameters of the river.  They talked about this in the Marsh Creek video.  I think it would be quit the adventure to use the equipment and compare your findings with each other.  I hope you had a great time.  This is my third comment today.
