The BIGGEST mushroom you have ever seen!

I'm not kidding.  This is the biggest mushroom you have ever seen.  The Amazing Arabelle found it for us off the beaten path along the Gibson Jack trail.  We believe it is a puffball mushroom, in the division Basidiomycota.  Please tell me if I am wrong.

Amazing. If it was edible you could feed a whole family for a week!! I had no idea mushrooms grew that big. thanks for sharing.

Now that is one cool mushroom. I have never seen a mushroom that big in our area. When I lived on the east coast there were mushrooms galore. I would take my dogs out at night and in the morning there were mushrooms the size of my hand. They grew that fast over night. They are an amazing organism.

I haven't ever seen a mushroom that big either.  In fact, I think that if I were the first one to walk by it, I would have thought it was a rock!
