Closing thoughts...

A lesson idea that sticks out for what I intend to take back to my students is the information that we went over as we toured Barber dam.  Because there is power generation I can tie that in with my Energy unit and incorporate how the power that is generated at specific locations may not serve that location and be owned by a consumer out of state,

I feel like the most important information Im going to take away from this workshop is the amount of support that this watershed has.  We have people who are opposite sides of issues (pro-dam vs. pro-salmon) who are working together to maintain this resource that we all take for granted.

This is a good idea I could also add this into an energy unit.  I keep thinking about water, but it works great for energy as well.
