Friday Sacajawea Visit

Today we went to Sacajawea park in Pocatello to look at the Sacajawea Storm Water Wetlands project. This is an area that was developed in 2008 and is currently being studied by Carolyn Macek under the MILES project grant. The photos are in chronological order from the beginning of our tour to the end. The intent of the project was to keep sediment and macronutrients from reentering the Portnuef.  Carolyn’s task/research is to study the effectiveness of the project.
