As an educator, this might not come as a big surprise, but I also think that the endeavors to educate the Treasure Valley about the effect of growth on water supply will have the greatest impact on the future of Idaho. Policy makers and citizens need access to scientific data-based information on how expansion will affect our water supply and water quality. For example, the representative in Water & Growth claimed not to have adequate information to make decisions about aquaphors. By making information about Idaho's socio-ecological systems easier to access and understand through technology like the model created by Bangshuai Han, people can make better informed decisions that allow Idaho to expand responsibly.
