Science as a narrative

Today we learned to be compelling through our personal nature story. It is this connection that engages our students. We walked and observed beautiful things, ugly things, things we would change and what we would desire to preserve.

This sounds like a fun day! However, that is quite interesting to think of the things that you would keep and try to protect verses the things in nature you would get rid of. The hard part for me is seeing how this effects our future! Does it help or hinder?
