what are some solutions to pollution that would satisfy all stakeholders?

During our morning we heard from presentors about how humans impact the boise river.  Our infrastructure, industry, and recreation all take their toll and we were able to directly observe that at the Barber Park launch point.  Fortunately, the river is resilent and just feet away from the launch point there are signs that the river is still in prestine condition.  Luckily there has been recognition of various groups for some time noiw that understand the need to preserve what this valley has and seek to continue it's improvement.

As far as solutions we we heard how there are projects that are in the process of being completed that are to help reduce the amount of phorsphorus in the water, as well as ways to reduce grey water runoff in development zones.  Both of these are what we call "best management practices" and it is something that is being integrated into urban and sub-urban development.

Ultimately, I dont think there is an answer to satisfy everyone who has a stake in this resource and it is going to require best practices and unselfish collaboration among groups as we proceed into the future.

A question to you: in what ways to do you see the mitigation of pollution back into our watershed?
