Developed by McCall Outdoor Science School for 7th-9th grade students.

Objectives:

  • Students will be able to distinguish between natural and human-induced heating of the Earth
  • Students can identify present and possible future effects of human-caused climate change, including impacts on human living conditions
  • Students will be able to explain the need for carbon dioxide sequestration.
  • Students can give an example of what carbon dioxide sequestration is.
  • Students will have an understanding that the amount of freshwater for human use in the world is incredibly small.
  • Students will understand the array of interests stakeholders in Idaho have for water
