Last Day Take Away!

Today, and the majority or the week, I discovered how many resources are very close and full of information. Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge is very close and has a great exhibit. We did not have much time to explor but it is a great resource. I need to explore what we have locally.

I found this workshop amazing and full of useful information. I plan on using many of the lesson plans and jpegs and ppts on the website in class. I have a much deeper understanding of the things I "knew" and I am looking forward to next years classes. At the top of the webpage you can find links and useful information. I tried to draw the Boise watershed on the whiteboard during our discussion of the importance of water. Now I know there is a great map online.

I absolutely agree in that this workshop is pretty amazing.  Getting out and doing the different activities as well as hearing from the spectrum of stakeholders gives the participants the information to form their opinions instead of just sharing one point of view.

It's been fun to read through the blog posts and keep up with what is going on in class. I look forward to it next year.

I don't know what I thought I was going to learn or be able to use from this class. You mentioning the Wildlife Refuge gave me yet another idea I will be able to take back and use in my fitness class or my health class. Taking my students to many of these places, I can combine two differnt classes into one.

I'm glad I was able to be a part of this.
