  • "The Peacemaker taught us about the Seven Generations. He said, when you sit in council for the welfare of the people, you must not think of yourself or of your family, not even of your generation. He said, make your decisions on behalf of the seven generations coming, so that they may enjoy what you have today."

I think this is exactly the point of MILES including teachers in their projects.  Who better to help the next generation to "make your decisions on behalf of the seven generations coming, so they may enjoy what you have today".  Great quote to end the week Maria!

I wish we all had to adapt to this way of thinking and doing. Native cultures teach, role model and respect the land and try to preserve it for many generations to come.

The 7th generation philosophy is so peaceful and necessary; it could save humanity and our planet.
